Firearms Registration Renewal

Ensuring your firearm registration remains current is a legal requirement under the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (Republic Act No. 10591), as amended by Republic Act No. 11766. 

Firearm registration must be renewed every five (5) years or ten (10) years, at your option, with the renewal period reckoned from your birthdate. Renewals may be filed within six (6) months before the expiration date.

Failure to renew on or before the expiration date will result in revocation of the firearm’s registration and your license; the firearm may subsequently be confiscated or forfeited in favor of the government after due process. Repeated failure to renew on two occasions will permanently disqualify you from applying for any firearm license.
